  The super-high service temperature: Maximum use temperature of zirconia fibers is up to 2200℃(3992), even as high as 2500℃(4532), zirconia fibers can remain normal shape.

 

   The best thermal insulating property: The coefficient of thermal conductivity of zirconia is the lowest among all metal oxides.

 

   The best corrosion resistance performance: The resistant ability against acid corrosion and alkaline corrosion of zirconia is remarkably superior to alumina and silica.

 

④   The lowest volatilization and non-pollution properties at high temperatures: The high-     

       temperature saturated vapor pressure of zirconia is the smallest among all metal

       oxides, which makes zirconia fibers uneasily volatilize and have non-pollution at high 

       temperatures.

    Zirconia fibers can be used as super-high temperature refractory 

      materials for single crystal growth furnaces, 1800℃(3272) furnaces, gas burning or oil burning furnaces and other high-temperature apparatus, finding their applications in single crystal growth, ceramic sintering, metal smelting, petroleum cracking, materials heat treatment and scientific research fields. Not only have excellent thermal insulating properties, but also meet the requirement for rapid temperature increase and rapid temperature decrease.

 

   Zirconia fibers can be used as super-high temperature insulating materials, fence materials, ablation materials and satellite battery separation materials, finding their applications in spaceflight, military and nuclear power fields.

 

   Zirconia fibers can be used as reinforcement materials for metal-matrix and ceramic-matrix composite materials, finding their applications in aviation and spaceflight fields. Especially when used for ablative and insulating functional composite materials, they will exert their unique advantages.
